Patrick B. Trammell, President of Southeastern Commercial Finance, LLC, is an experienced asset based lender and commercial banker. Mr. Trammell’s career activities for more than 25 years have been concentrated in originating and managing asset based and C&I loan transactions as a commercial banker and through Southeastern Commercial Finance. Since founding Southeastern Commercial in 1996 Mr. Trammell and his colleagues have structured over $200,000,000 in asset based loans throughout the Southeast, both for their own portfolio and in partnership with Holding Company, Regional and Community Banks. Southeastern Commercial Finance, LLC provides turn-key, low risk participation and servicing solutions for banks seeking to diversify their commercial lending portfolio through conservatively structured asset based loans.
Mr. Trammell is an author, lecturer and presenter of content related to Asset Based and other commercial lending topics. He has developed and presented seminars for national and international organizations, including the Commercial Finance Association, the Risk Management Association, the World Bank, the Institute of the Americas, and the Small Business Administration.
He is also active in Secured Transaction law reform activities in developing countries, serving as a member of a 7-person delegation in 2011 invited to Shanghai, China by the Chinese Central Bank and the International Finance Corporation (of the World Bank Group) to teach asset-based lending to over 350 Chinese commercial bankers. In 2013 he spoke at the Secured Transaction Reform in Latin America and the Caribbean Conference in San Jose, Costa Rica. He is also frequently quoted on issues related to commercial finance in national publications.
